I'm excited to share what I think when they arrive!  I was really happy with the price of the 3.5" tree, as I needed something bigger to place by the back door where my Dalmatian likes to scratch the wall when he wants to be let out.  I've tried training to him ring bells I hung on the doorknob instead but he reallyyyyy likes that wall and old habits die hard (especially when I'm the only one enforcing the new one).  I need to sand and repaint the area but I don't want to do it until I have something to block his scratch-y paws.  We had a real plant there and that worked, and it was actually doing okay and surviving at least (certainly not thriving because lets be real)...aaaaand then we got two new kittens who decided that it was their personal feast.  It wasn't poisonous to them, but it certainly didn't do the plant any favors and eventually I had to give it up.
